Enough with the cute shit.  This here is a detail of a larger WORK IN PROGRESS.  I’m going to be using this to demo some ink drawing techniques today for Barron Storey’s sequential art class over at CCA.  Trying to get the kids to drop their gay wacom tablets for a minute and get their hands dirty.

Amazing colors by Allen Passalaqua (JSA, Batman Confidential, Superman: The Last Family of Krypton).

Here is my contribution for Wonder Woman Day V. Happening this Sunday in Portland, it’s an art show and silent auction to benefit the Bradley Angle Domestic Violence Program. You can place bids on this piece at the Wonder Woman Day site.

INFO:
Excalibur Comics, 2444 SE Hawthorne Blvd, Portland, Oregon
Sunday, October 24, 2010 — 12noon-6pm — FREE
A part of national Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

As for the piece itself, I just don’t know. In a fit of insanity I drew this. I don’t know why there’s a deranged baby robot. I don’t know why Wonder Woman is holding it up. I don’t know why she ripped off it’s arm or why she’s crying. I don’t even know why Wonder Woman is a midget!

Sometimes…the world doesn’t make sense…why should art.

Lost in the HorizonA small panel from the top secret (hush, hush) project I’ve been working on for DC. To be announced later this year…

Something new, something old. This here is a short story tagged onto the last few pages of TONER V. It’s a revamp of an old comic strip I drew when I was 16.
