"The Five Faces of Darkness: Part One."
These are the two pieces I had up at the YOOHOO + DONUTS show that opened a few weeks ago. I just photographed the "Five Faces" painting, so i should have a highrez scan of that in the coming weeks. It measures 6'x2' and it is heavily textured. The "Powerglide" piece is quite beat up as well. None of that texture reproduces on this bullshit digital medium, so if yr interested, i suggest you check the paintings "live" at the Varnish Gallery in San Francisco. The show hangs til April 30th.
I would also like to thank everybody who came by and bought shit fr our sloppyass table at the Alternative Press Expo. I thought I'd address some frequently asked questions...
Q: Why don't you have anything new, and why is yr table so dirty?
A: I just got a DVD burner and we're lazy as shit.
Q: Where is the reprint of TONER?
A: Be patient. I am still working on that, as well as a reprint of GEM.
Q: When will the next TOWN O' CRAZIES be released?
A: TOC IV will be released this July at the San Diego Comic-Con with contributions fr the town's OG's; Lee Ballard, Jerome Opena, Thien Pham, and myself.
Q: What happened to the silkscreened poster that you say will happen but never does?
A: Still in the works with no deadline in sight.

What the fuck? An update? Is this an april fools joke? Bet that's what yr all thinking.. Well, i'm back fr seclusion...at least, for the moment. After 7 1/2 years, i said goodbye and left San Francisco. I reestablished the offices of scrapbookMANIFESTO in the center of San Jose. It's bascially a giant suburban sprawl. No matter...there's still shit goin on...

The YooHoo & Donuts group art showing thingy is opening on April 9th at the Varnish Gallery. The lineup consists of the usual gang of idiots. I'll have new paintings hanging...never seen anywhere! Not even on this website. Check the postcard image above for the info.
The show happens the night of the Alternative Press Expo in Frisco. I'll be there chillin at table #549 with copies of stuff...i don't really know what yet...but i'll have something.

Quick sketches.
