COLLABRO: Artists collaborating with each other to make even worse art than they usually produce. Opens this Friday at GALLERY ANNO DOMINI in San Jose.

Collaboration #1: Alex Pardee drew all the fuzzy stuff, I drew the girl.

Detail of the girl in her virgin state, before Alex made her a woman.

Collaboration #2: A baby I painted for a shadow box/sculpture, constructed by Brad Isdrab. No pictures of the finished sculpture at the moment...you can see it at the show.

PAGE ONE OF THE "DEATH & TAXES" SHORT STORY WAS STOLEN AT COMIC-CON 2006!!!
The image above was jacked fr my portfolio at the con. It is one of the first pages to TONER II, and I would like to get it back. If you see it for sale or display anywhere, please contact me so I can exact revenge on the mutherfucker. If you have the piece and would like to save yr soul fr the lucifer, or even worse, MY WRATH, contact me anonymously, and send me the pic...no questions asked.

CON! Thanx to everybody, especially the regulars, that come back every year to say 'HI.'

TONER I IS GONE! That's it. 160 copies total with a silkscreened cover.
TONER II is still around...self-published...24 pages...photocopied with a yellow, stiff cardstock cover...$4.00USD.
Once again, rejected fr every publisher in the industry. Here's a quote fr Fantagraphics Books, "we would have a hard time making any money on this type of material."
The wonderful people over at HI-FRUCTOSE magazine reviewed TONER II. Here is what they had to say: "The collection of self-published comic books from Jonathan Wayshak is a sucker punch to the comic book/graphic novel realm and he does it using only analog techniques - ink, staples, and copy machines. An instinctive sense of humor belies a mixture of sadness, ugliness, and despair in each of his narratives. With a bleakness almost inherent to the very ink he draws with, he delievers something totally honest and RAD in its rawest form. Toner II, a collection of three short, mostly visual stories are drawn in his freehand style breaking rules only someone who really knows how to draw can; a rare thing in these days of super glossy digital design. How much longer do I have to wait for my scrapbookMANIFESTO compilation in full color hardback? Sheesh! Yes, I am a fan. But even Wayshak calls it nonsense."

BLANK. This delightful little girl is fr the story 'Claire,' which is one of two stories I illustrated my other self-published book, BLANK. 'Claire' was written by Dave Correia and the second story, 'Fall,' was written by Alex Pardee. This book is 16 pages, photocopied with a cardstock cover. $3.00USD.
