”…unfortunately this is also the second time I’ve decided not to look at your website, since the choice of art for the postcard is so wildly unprofessional. Until you’ve changed it, I prefer to be off your list, and I strongly suggest you think twice before sending female editors Joker/Harley soft porn as a way of soliciting work.”
This editor does not realize that I have already been working for her studio for the past few years.

She’s probably the only person to ever refer to your artwork as “soft” anything.
Must be somebody who’s stuck in the traditional publishing industry’s old way/model of doing things =P
I wanted to thank you for one of your drawings on dA (“a poem for my girl” / done in April 2002). I’m not on dA much nowadays, but that drawing was one of the first I added to my favorites list. It was bold, wild, and what art should be (as I can see your current work is no different!). It was a very inspiring piece and one that I thought of often, as I practiced on and off with sketching/drawing (started in 2004 on and off; recently improved and have been getting better with shading. I stuck with pen for a while to build confidence, going back to pencils now for a while. Have colored digitally in the past, but wanted to stick with bnw for a few years to get the basics right).
Hello Jess.
Thank you for the kind words. Especially towards something as old as “a poem for my girl.” Glad you found something worthwhile about that piece. Good luck with your work. Thanks!
she is a bitch.
Your art is some of the best I’ve seen.
Fuck her
